Jason Hunt

Jason Hunt is currently the Director of Finance at eSentire, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at AudienceView as the Director of Accounting from December 2021 to March 2023. Jason also served as the Head of Accounting and Finance at O2 Industries Inc. from January 2021 to July 2021. Jason has extensive experience in auditing and accounting, having worked at KPMG Canada from 2010 to 2020. During their time at KPMG Canada, they held various roles including Audit Senior Manager, Technical Reviewer and Lead Facilitator, Audit Manager, Audit Assistant Manager, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Jason also worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG UK from June 2012 to September 2013. Jason started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009 and later worked as a Personal Tax Preparer and Office Assistant at Susan Tunstall, Chartered Accountant from 2004 to 2007.

Jason Hunt obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, where they studied Business, Accounting, and Political Science from 2005 to 2009. Jason also acquired additional certifications, including a Chartered Professional Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 2012 and a Chartered Accountant certification from the Institiute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 2011.
