Barry Becker

Barry Becker is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data visualization and software development. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at ThousandEyes since April 2019, Barry previously held a Senior Developer position at ESI Group and worked as Technical Lead at SGI, where a significant focus was on modernizing the MineSet codebase. Barry’s career includes roles at PROS Revenue Management and Metreo, Inc., specializing in Java, Flex, and interactive client-side UI development. Earlier positions at Blue Martini Software and SGI involved contributions to data visualization applications and MineSet. Barry holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and a dual BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
