ESM - European Stability Mechanism
Peter Lindmark is an experienced project manager and managing director with a strong background in digital media and risk management solutions. Currently, Peter serves as a Project Manager at ESM - European Stability Mechanism, specializing in the delivery of a major website and digital media assets. Previously, Peter has held various roles, including managing director at Asymptotix, where expertise in Solution Architecture Design for risk management was developed, and project manager for SPEED2, focusing on data management and transformations. Peter's experience also includes project management at the European Commission, business development at Panoramic Management, and IT project management in several other organizations. Peter holds a Master of Science in Automation Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
ESM - European Stability Mechanism
The ESM is the crisis resolution mechanism for euro area countries. The ESM issues debt instruments in order to finance loans and other forms of financial assistance to euro area Member States. The decision leading to the creation of the ESM was taken by the European Council in December 2010. The euro area Member States signed an intergovernmental treaty establishing the ESM on 2 February 2012. The ESM was inaugurated on 8 October 2012 and is based in Luxembourg.
