ESM - European Stability Mechanism
Rami Fayad boasts a robust background in information technology security and business management, with current involvement as an Information Technology Security Expert at the European Stability Mechanism since May 2022. Previously, Rami served as a Territory Manager in Luxembourg for POTECH, where responsibilities included designing business strategies, conducting negotiations, and building client relationships. Rami's extensive experience also encompasses roles as a Security Operations Center Manager and Head of Information Security Operations, focusing on the establishment of security operations for various organizations and developing cyber security programs. With a solid educational foundation, including a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph University of Beirut in Network and System Security and Telecommunications Technology, Rami combines technical expertise with strategic oversight in information security.
ESM - European Stability Mechanism
The ESM is the crisis resolution mechanism for euro area countries. The ESM issues debt instruments in order to finance loans and other forms of financial assistance to euro area Member States. The decision leading to the creation of the ESM was taken by the European Council in December 2010. The euro area Member States signed an intergovernmental treaty establishing the ESM on 2 February 2012. The ESM was inaugurated on 8 October 2012 and is based in Luxembourg.
