Didier Blanchard currently serves as a Synchrotron X-ray Research Engineer at Momentum Transfer and as a Business Development Engineer at ESRF - The European Synchrotron. Prior experience includes a role as Team Manager at Les Orres, where responsibilities involved overseeing ski-pass control and operating ski lifts. Didier previously worked as a Senior Researcher at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, focusing on materials for energy conversion and storage, particularly in batteries and thermochemical heat storage. Additionally, experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the Institute for Energy Technology, specializing in hydrogen solid-state storage, and a Research Engineer role at CNRS, developing alternative power supplies for electrostatic precipitators. Didier holds a Ph.D. in Physics and a Master's degree in Applied Physics from Université Grenoble Alpes.
