Abhijit Sarkar

Abhijit Sarkar is an experienced professional in geospatial consulting and solution engineering, currently serving as a Senior Solution Engineer for Infrastructure in Utilities, Telecom, Ports, and Railways at Esri since September 2021. Prior to this, Abhijit held the position of Manager - Geospatial at GovTech Singapore, where responsibilities included providing geospatial consulting services and engaging with diverse customer audiences to understand business needs. Abhijit has an extensive background with Esri Singapore, serving in various roles from Cluster Lead to Lead Enterprise Consultant, focusing on the Public and Transportation Sector. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior GIS Analyst at CyberTech Systems & Software Inc. Abhijit holds an Executive Programme in Leadership and Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a Post Graduate degree in GIS from Universität Salzburg, and a BTech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.
