Shanon Sims

Shanon Sims is an accomplished project manager and business strategist with extensive experience in leading diverse projects and events across multiple sectors, including technology, education, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Product Engineer Project Manager at Esri since October 2022, Shanon has also owned and managed projects at Bending Orange since January 2016, providing consultancy for small businesses and nonprofits. Previously, Shanon held various project management roles at organizations such as the City of Austin, Dell, HID Global, and Austin ISD, contributing to significant technology migrations and event management. Educational credentials include an MBA in IT Management from Western Governors University, a Master’s in Education from Lubbock Christian University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University.
