Shashank Vasisht

Shashank Vasisht is currently a Data Scientist-II at Esri since March 2024. Prior to this role, Shashank worked as a Researcher-I at Fynd (Shopsense Retail Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) from September 2021 to February 2024, where an AI-based automatic watermark detection and removal tool was developed, earning recognition as #2 product of the day and #4 product of the week on Product Hunt. From April 2019 to September 2021, Shashank served as a Deep Learning Engineer at Mando Corp., focusing on developing a 3D-object detection algorithm using deep learning and computer vision, as well as implementing advanced tracking algorithms. Earlier experience includes a position as a Research Associate at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women from August 2018 to April 2019, where research on deep learning and computer vision algorithms for analyzing Wireless Capsule Endoscopy Images was conducted. Shashank holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering, completed in 2018.
