Caroline Anderson

Caroline Anderson is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as the Health Plan CFO and Vice President of Product & Business Development at Essence Healthcare since July 2023. Prior to this role, Caroline held various leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group from November 2016 to June 2023, including Executive Director for Medicare & Retirement, where oversight was provided for the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC markets, and Associate Director of Provider Engagement & Data Exchange, focusing on HEDIS data exchange and provider incentives. Caroline has also worked as a Manager of Provider Engagement & Alignment and served as a Doula with Family Ways. Earlier in their career, Caroline was a Senior Health Analytics Manager at Voxiva, directing data and analytics initiatives. Caroline holds a Master of Science in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Colgate University, supplemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Minnetonka High School.
