Ashley Carthy has extensive work experience in human resources and employee experience roles. Ashley most recently worked at Essense of Australia, starting in 2019 as the Director of Human Resources and later becoming the Vice President of Employee Experience in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an HR Business Partner at University College Dublin from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they served as the National Manager of HR at Kinetic IT from 2013 to 2018. Ashley previously held HR positions at University College Dublin, River Island, Barry & Sons, RailCorp, Gateway, and Astellas Pharma US.

Ashley Carthy completed their education in a chronological manner. In 2002-2003, they attended Technological University Dublin and obtained a CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification in Personnel Practice. Ashley then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Human Resources Management from Technological University Dublin from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School where they achieved an MSc (Hons) degree in Human Resources/Employment Relations.
