David Stanfield has a robust background in procurement and supply chain management, currently serving as the Business Lead Procurement and SCM at Essential Energy since March 2020. Prior roles include Manager of PMO & Governance in Procurement and Logistics at Ausgrid from September 2014 to October 2019, and Corporate Procurement Manager at Sydney Ports Corporation between July 2010 and September 2014. Earlier experience at Primary Health Care and GlaxoSmithKline involved various procurement roles, culminating in leadership of the Purchase to Pay ERP implementation team. David holds a Master of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
