Matt Joines

Matt Joines is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in IT service management and field operations. Currently serving as the Director of IT Service Desk at Essential Utilities, Inc., since August 2018, Matt leads teams focused on water and gas operations, enhancing SAP Plant Maintenance systems, and driving operational excellence. Prior roles include Systems Analyst II at Aqua, where support was provided for enterprise applications, and IT Technical Specialist at Allied Universal, where automation scripts were developed to improve processes. Matt has a solid educational foundation with a Master of Science in Business Information Technology from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Northeastern University.
