ESTIEM
Robert Zastrow currently serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for ESTIEM, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Robert gained valuable experience as a Student Worker at the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI from August 2023 to January 2024 and as a Leader within the Cultural Development Department at ESTIEM, where responsibilities included organizing the Europe3D Event Format from May 2022 to April 2023. During tenure with Fachschaftsteam e.V. from August 2021 to July 2022, Robert managed IT responsibilities as a Board member, led the first physical student welcome week post-COVID, and updated the organization's website. Early experience included a Student Assistant role at IFB Institut für Bahntechnik GmbH, which provided insights into engineering and railway transportation. Robert Zastrow is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Technische Universität Berlin, complemented by an Erasmus year at Politecnico di Milano. Educational background includes a Bac Franco-Allemand from Lycée Franco-Allemand de Buc.

ESTIEM
ESTIEM is a non-profit, non-political organization for European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, who combine technological understanding with management skills. ESTIEM is a strong network represented by 76 Local Groups across Europe, reaching more than 60 000 students. All these independently-functioning local student associations organize Europe-wide and local activities, and represent ESTIEM in their universities. Our goal is to establish and foster relations between students and to support them in their personal and professional development. We aim to be the connector of IEM Students with an IEM Europe. An IEM Europe is the ecosystem of companies, universities, organisations and other entities interested in the field of IEM. We are striving for each IEM Student to have a connection not only with other students all over Europe in the same field but also to other companies and universities, to ensure each student has a voice as well as the opportunity to make a difference, and to allow each outstanding innovative idea to become reality.
