Dirk Altgassen

Dirk Altgassen is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in IT management and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Chief Data & Information Officer at Etex since September 2015, Dirk leads initiatives focusing on IT alignment and the transition to cloud technologies. Previously, Dirk held multiple leadership roles within Etex, including Managing Director of Etex Services NV and Etex Holding GmbH, as well as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Etex Germany Exteriors GmbH. Dirk's expertise extends to advisory roles with STRATEGY AND MORE, consulting on IT strategy and management. Previous positions include Chief Information Officer at Grohe, Director and Deputy CIO at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt, and Senior Program Manager at IKB Deutsche Industriebank. Dirk's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Wales and a Leadership Development Programme at INSEAD.
