Jan Loosen

Jan Loosen currently serves as the Head of Legal M&A and Corporate Finance at Etex, a position held since May 2021. Prior to this role, Jan worked as a Senior Attorney at Eubelius in the Corporate/M&A department from November 2018 to May 2021, and as an Associate at Linklaters from February 2014 to November 2018. Jan also gained valuable experience as a secondee at both the Amsterdam office of Linklaters and KBC Group NV's Legal Division. Earlier roles include positions at Loyens & Loeff as an Associate, summer internships, and research roles at Ghent University and Universiteit Antwerpen. Jan's educational background includes a Postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from KU Leuven, an LL.M. in Corporate Law from Duke University, and various law-related degrees from Católica Global School of Law and the University of Antwerp, among others.
