Ruben Bordin

Ruben Bordin is an experienced R&D Engineer and Team Leader at Etex, with a focus on process, technology, and industrialization in the Fiber Cement sector since April 2008. Prior to this role, Ruben contributed as an R&D Engineer at the Innovation and Technology Center for Fiber Cement and served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at Grenoble INP-Pagora while supervising master projects. Ruben's early career includes applied research during Ph.D. studies at INP-Grenoble Pagora, sponsored by Tembec, where the focus was on modeling low consistency pulp disc refiners for energy optimization. Additionally, Ruben worked as a Process Engineer at Burgo Group, exploring flexographic de-inking chemistry. Ruben holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA, an MEng in Paper Process Engineering from Grenoble INP-Pagora, and an MEng in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, complemented by business education at Vlerick Business School.
