Jim Hume

Jim Hume is a highly experienced software developer and voice-over artist with a diverse background in software architecture, development, and project management. Currently serving as a Principal Software Developer at eThor since February 2018, Jim has played a crucial role in creating a platform that integrates Point of Sale systems with Payment Processing Devices. Previously, Jim worked as a Chief Software Architect at a stealth-mode startup, focusing on security platform architecture, and held the position of Software Development Manager at ENKON Information Systems, where major contributions included implementing Agile methodologies and improving project delivery timelines. Other notable experiences include roles at Schneider Electric, JSI Telecom, Bridgeways, Silect Software Inc., and Quest Software, where Jim consistently delivered high-quality software solutions while mentoring teams and enhancing development processes.
