Melaku Kebede

Melaku Kebede is vice-chairperson of the board representing Hibret Bank. He was Senior DCEO – Strategy & Technology of Hibret until he assumed his current position in 2019. With 17 years of experience in banking, before Hibret, he has also served as vice president of technology at Zemen Bank. Melaku attained both his bachelor’s degree in physics and master’s degree in Information science from Addis Ababa University.

He has 15 years of experience in the banking industry. Before his banking career had led several IT projects and served as Registrar, Senate Member and Lecturer at Unity University.
