AKASH GONE is currently working as OCC- Depot -Train Controller at Etihad Rail since July 2023. Prior to that, AKASH held positions such as ICC LINE SUPERVISOR at RKH Qitarat from February 2023 to July 2023, and ICC LINE CONTROLLER at the same company from March 2019 to December 2022. Their experience includes managing unattended train operations, supporting tests related to train movement and control, monitoring and controlling various subsystems, and overseeing station operations. Akash also worked as an MEP System Coordinator at ALYSJ, a Team lead for 25KV OCS system at Keolis Hyderabad Mass Rapid Transit System Pvt Ltd, and in BMS at Genpact. AKASH holds a B.tech in Electrical and Electronics from GLOBAL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING HYDERABAD.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
