Jobin Joseph currently serves as a Freight Facilities Controller at Etihad Rail since August 2023, where responsibilities include managing terminal handovers, operating signalling equipment, leading safety compliance, and overseeing daily terminal operations. Previously, Jobin worked at Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. from December 2018 to August 2023, first as a Station Controller, ensuring the safe operation of stations and trains, and as a Train Pilot, executing crew control and emergency drills. Jobin's experience includes an internship at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. in 2017 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology, completed in 2018.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
