Ameera Alkhlaifi, M.SC, PMP, BSP is currently the Director of Strategy and Performance at Etihad Rail. Previously, Ameera served as Vice-president of the Abu Dhabi Youth Council at the Federal Youth Authority - UAE and held various roles at McKinsey & Company and the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport. Ameera holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Studies from Masdar Institute for Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Transport Engineering from Higher Colleges of Technology.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
