Russ Sandlin is an experienced professional in call center management and customer service, currently serving as Call Center Manager at Etihad Rail since August 2023. With a career spanning over two decades, Russ has held advisory roles at Transcend Support and Benprise LLC, the latter consulting for contact centers across multiple countries. Previous positions include Customer Experience & Contact Centre Expert at Qatar Railways Company and Project Manager for the Public Works Authority in Qatar. Russ has also contributed to the transformation of retail banking at Kuwait International Bank and led customer service initiatives at Gulf Bank Kuwait. Educational qualifications include a BS in Business from Excelsior University, along with studies at several other institutions.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
