Saeed Aljabri is currently a Rail Planning Engineer at Etihad Rail, a position held since March 2021. Prior to this, Saeed served as General Manager at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation from August 2015 to March 2021, and briefly as an Industrial Trainee at Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company in mid-2019. Saeed has also participated in various educational programs, including a Tackling the Tough Skills Program with the University of Missouri Extension and a Mechanical Engineer skills training at TMTS Training. An Industrial Internship was completed at the Dublin College of Advanced Studies in 2016, while earlier experience includes serving as Executive Assistant Secretary for the UAE Armed Forces from May 2014 to May 2015 and gaining IT program skills at the Institute of Applied Technology in 2013. Saeed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Higher Colleges of Technology and has completed a certification as a Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management 8 Certified Implementation Specialist. Education continues with studies at the University of Missouri Department of Communication.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
