Veerabhadra Rao Kodelli is an experienced track maintenance and management professional with over two decades in the railway industry. Currently serving as Track Maintenance Supervisor at Etihad Rail since August 2022, Veerabhadra has previously held the position of Track Manager at CSCEC Middle East from November 2019 to August 2022, overseeing the track works for the Etihad Rail Project. Other notable roles include Senior Track Expert at SYSTRA, Construction Manager (Track) at Larsen & Toubro, Track Manager at Fujita Corporation Japan, and various managerial positions at Larsen & Toubro and RITES Ltd. Veerabhadra's career began as a Permanent Way Inspector with Indian Railways, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Andhra University obtained in 1999.

Etihad Rail was established in June 2009 under Federal Law No. 2, with the mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national freight and passenger railway network. The railway network will link the principal centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network across the GCC.
