Steve Birtles

Steve Birtles has extensive work experience in the field of education and technology. Steve currently holds the position of Head of Digital Teaching and Learning at Eton College since April 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Learning Technologies at The Sixth Form College Farnborough from November 2011 to April 2023. Additionally, they served as the Curriculum Manager for Computer Science from January 2016 to April 2021 and as a Physics Teacher from September 2008 to November 2011 at the same institution.

Steve Birtles completed a Diploma in Computing from The Open University. Steve then went on to obtain their MA in Physics from the University of Oxford. Finally, they completed their PGCE in Science from the University of Oxford.
