Kevin Vandersloot has had a diverse professional career spanning multiple industries. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer and Course Lecturer at Pennsylvania State University, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Portsmouth in the UK. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Technical Analyst at Applied Underwriters. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Pacific Gas & Electric, where they developed an analytic forecasting and risk management application. Finally, from 2015 to present, they have been an ETRM Quant & Developer at ETRMServices, where they have been engaged on projects at various clients and was the lead developer of the ETRMHub platform.
Kevin Vandersloot obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of California, Davis in 2000. Kevin then went on to pursue a PhD in Physics from Penn State University, which they completed in 2006.
