John Davies

John Davies serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Etsy since September 2019, contributing to various engineering leadership roles including Senior Director and Director of Engineering. Prior to Etsy, John held multiple positions at OppenheimerFunds from July 2011 to July 2019, culminating in the role of Head of Digital Technology, where technical leadership was provided for a large engineering organization. Previous experience includes being a Senior Data Architect at QuinStreet, a Manager at Jupitermedia responsible for enterprise data architecture and integration, and earlier roles focusing on database administration at Jupiter Communications. John holds a BA in English Literature with a minor in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University.
