Mahir Yavuz

Mahir Yavuz is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Etsy, overseeing both Etsy Search and Etsy Ads. With extensive experience in academia and industry, Mahir has held positions such as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and the Pratt Institute, as well as co-founding Topos Inc. and serving as CTO. Previous roles include Director of Data Science at R/GA and Lead Design Technologist at Seed Scientific, where Mahir contributed to significant projects leveraging data visualization and UI/UX design.
