The EU Digital Identity Wallet Consortium (EWC) is a joint effort to successfully leverage the benefits of the proposed EU Digital Identity in the form of Digital Travel Credentials across the Member States. EWC is one of the Large Scale Pilots for the EU Digital Wallet and co-funded by the European Commission.

The EWC intends to build on the Reference Wallet Application to enable a use case focused on Digital Travel Credentials, Payment and Organizational ID.

EWC is lead by BOLAGSVERKET/Sweden and Finnish Ministry of Finance. It`s Co-Coordinated by msg systems ag and a wide range of European partners with strong technical capabilities and ability to ensure Europe-wide scaling:

- Representatives from all 27 EU-Member States and partners from other 
   countries.
- 41 Partners
- 35 Associated partners

Such a wide representation provides a unique capacity for useable but trustworthy EU Digital Wallet, Identities and Attestation for citizens, companies and public authorities accross Europe.
