Guillaume PARAN is an experienced project and release manager currently working at eu-LISA since September 2022, where responsibilities include organizing and leading project teams and managing stakeholder communication. Prior to this, Guillaume served as a release manager and DevOps engineer at Inria from October 2015 to September 2022, focusing on the SOFA Framework for multi-physics simulation. Previous roles also include C++ and C# programming positions at IHU Strasbourg & IRCAD, Method In The Madness, SOC Informatique, and Openium. Guillaume obtained a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from ENSIIE, along with a Bachelor of Science from Université d'Auvergne, and has pursued entrepreneurial studies at Université de Strasbourg.

This is the official company page for the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA). eu-LISA was established to manage large-scale information systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. It fulfils the operational management tasks for Eurodac, the Schengen Information System (SIS II) and the Visa Information System (VIS). The Agency thus supports the implementation of the EU's border management, asylum and migration policies. eu-LISA has also been entrusted with the preparation, development and operational management of the European Entry-Exit System (EES), the European Travel Information and Authorisation Systems (ETIAS) as well as the European Criminal Records Information System - Third Country Nationals (ECRIS-TCN) and ensure that both these and the already existing systems are interoperable. eu-LISA is responsible for keeping all the IT systems under its control permanently functional in order to allow continuous and uninterrupted exchange of data between national authorities.
