Yordan Stoyanov is an experienced IT professional specializing in project management and vendor management, with a career spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as an IT Officer at eu-LISA since April 2018, Yordan has held roles including Project Manager and Service Delivery Coordinator, focusing on project scope definition, documentation, and effective communication with stakeholders. Prior experience includes project management positions at Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria, Despark, and HP, where Yordan managed various IT projects and contributed to risk and change control processes. Yordan's earlier roles included managing trading agents at "Aso-Pireli" Ltd., and contributions to the gaming industry through work with Eight Art Ltd. and Gamers Workshop Magazine. Yordan holds a Master’s degree in Public Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics, and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at ESCP Business School.

This is the official company page for the European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA). eu-LISA was established to manage large-scale information systems in the area of freedom, security and justice. It fulfils the operational management tasks for Eurodac, the Schengen Information System (SIS II) and the Visa Information System (VIS). The Agency thus supports the implementation of the EU's border management, asylum and migration policies. eu-LISA has also been entrusted with the preparation, development and operational management of the European Entry-Exit System (EES), the European Travel Information and Authorisation Systems (ETIAS) as well as the European Criminal Records Information System - Third Country Nationals (ECRIS-TCN) and ensure that both these and the already existing systems are interoperable. eu-LISA is responsible for keeping all the IT systems under its control permanently functional in order to allow continuous and uninterrupted exchange of data between national authorities.
