Pauline Gounaud

Pauline Gounaud is an experienced communication professional currently serving as the Head of Sector Communication at EuroHPC Joint Undertaking since August 2020. Prior to this role, Pauline was a Communication Officer at the European Commission from September 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities included developing and implementing communication strategies related to the European Open Science Cloud and other key technological initiatives. Pauline's background also includes serving as a Policy Advisor for the Industry, Telecom, Research, Energy Committee at the European Parliament from February 2010 to August 2017, focusing on strategic support for digital legislation. Early career experience includes roles in public affairs and event management, as well as internships with LDC Conseil and the Urban Community of La Rochelle. Pauline holds advanced degrees in Public Affairs and Interest Representation from Université Laval and Sciences Po Bordeaux, alongside a Baccalaureate degree from Lycée Montaigne and Lycée Dautet.
