Miriam Scherpenzeel

Miriam Scherpenzeel currently serves as a Compliance Officer in Group Corporate Compliance at Euronext since September 2023. Prior to this role, Miriam accumulated extensive experience at Autoriteit Financiële Markten from December 2003 to August 2023, holding various positions including Supervision Officer for Licensing Asset Management, Ongoing Supervision, Financial Institutions, and Market Access. Miriam also took a sabbatical during this tenure. Earlier experience includes serving as a Supervision Officer for Market Access at De Nederlandsche Bank from January 2002 to December 2003 and as a Legal Counsel in employment law at DAS in 2001. Miriam holds a degree in Civil Law from Leiden University (1994-2000) and has further education from Grotius Academie (2010-2011) and the University of Vienna (2000).
