Beata Javorcik

Chief Economist at EBRD

Beata Javorcik is currently serving as the Chief Economist at EBRD since September 2019. Prior to their current role, Beata was a Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford from October 2007 to August 2019. Beata also held various roles at The World Bank from September 1999 to August 2007, including Senior Economist and Economist. Beata holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Yale University, completed in 1999, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Rochester, obtained in 1994.
