Miguel Angel Bayona Pérez is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in project management and IT architecture. Currently serving as Project Manager and Principal IT Architect at the European Central Bank since April 2015, Miguel leads the development and implementation of the ECB’s architecture and cloud migration strategy. Previously, Miguel held roles such as CIO and CTO at Grupo EULEN, where focus was on IT modernization and digital transformation. Prior positions include CTO and Senior Consultant at The Server People, leading IT strategy and transformation initiatives, and CTO at BBVA, where Miguel was instrumental in creating Uno-e Bank's internet-based banking solution. Additional experience includes leading IT projects at Deutsche Börse and the European Space Agency. Miguel holds a Master's Degree from IESE Business School and an MSc in Software Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
