European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC)
Florent Kirchner currently serves as the Secretary General for Investment and holds the titles of Directeur du pôle souveraineté numérique and Coordinateur de la stratégie nationale pour la cybersécurité at the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC). With extensive experience at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives from 2011 to 2022, Kirchner led initiatives in Software and Systems Engineering, coordinated large-scale cybersecurity programs, and oversaw a laboratory focused on advanced code analysis technologies. Previous roles include Strategic Director at SPARTA and Postdoctoral Fellow at INRIA, where collaborative academic partnerships were established. Kirchner's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Formal Methods from École Polytechnique and advanced degrees in related fields from prestigious institutions.
