Luca Tagliaretti currently serves as the Executive Director of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC) since February 2024, previously holding multiple roles at eu-LISA including Deputy Executive Director and Interim Executive Director from March 2020 to February 2024. Prior experience includes nearly 21 years at the European Central Bank in various positions such as Principal Security Expert, Senior Security Expert, Coordinator of the ECB/EUROPOL Joint Cyberpatrol Unit, and Supervisor of the International Counterfeit Deterrence Centre. Luca's educational background includes advanced leadership and negotiation training from esteemed institutions such as Harvard University and Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, as well as an MBA from Oxford Brookes University, and engineering studies at Politecnico di Milano.
