European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC)
Pascal Steichen is the Founder and CEO of the Luxembourg House of Cybersecurity, with a focus on strategic development, corporate management, communication, and human resources since May 2010. Steichen serves as the Chairperson and Governing Board Member of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre since July 2021, and holds the position of Président at the Africa Cybersecurity Resource Centre. Additionally, Steichen is an Advisory Board Member at the International Cybersecurity Forum and has been a Lecturer at the University of Luxembourg since 2006. Prior experience includes leading the Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg from 2008 to 2020, managing CASES Luxembourg, and organizing the hack.lu conference. Steichen has also worked as an Information Security Officer for the Ministry of the Economy and contributed to ENISA as a Management Board Member. Educational qualifications include a Master in Applied IT and a Licencié (Master) in Physics from Université libre de Bruxelles.
