Romuald Vaudry is a Forest & Land-Use Expert at the European Forest Institute, focusing on the design and implementation of International Partnerships Facility activities in Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire, participatory land-use planning, and land tenure security in Africa, as well as leading the Sustainable Cocoa programme in Cameroon. Previously, Romuald served as a Representative for Nitidæ in Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, overseeing community-based natural resource management and managing the Mé REDD+ Project in Côte d’Ivoire. With prior experience at Etc Terra in Madagascar managing multiple conservation and waste management projects, and as a Carbon Project Manager at GoodPlanet, Romuald has extensive expertise in REDD+ initiatives. Romuald began a career as a Forestry Consultant at the Regional Office for Private Woodland of Normandy, developing sustainable forest management plans. Romuald holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from AgroParisTech and a Master 2 from the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle.
