Matteo Fila currently serves as a Research Trainee in the Lung Cancer Research Program at Mayo Clinic, a position held since November 2024. In addition, Matteo is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), both since January 2022 and July 2019, respectively. As an Oncology Resident at Humanitas Research Hospital since October 2021, Matteo has gained substantial clinical experience, previously working as a Medico Vaccinatore at ASST dei Sette Laghi from June to December 2021. Prior internship experiences include roles in Pathology and Oncology at Ospedale di Circolo e Fondazione Macchi, where Matteo participated in significant research and clinical tasks from February 2020 to February 2021 and October 2018 to December 2019. Matteo is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Humanitas University, expected to be completed in 2026, and holds an MD from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, awarded in 2020.
