Roberto Fallini has accumulated extensive experience in various strategic roles within humanitarian and security sectors. Currently serving as Head of Training Planning and Programming Sector at the European Union Agency for Asylum since January 2018, Roberto has also held positions as Senior Planning Officer and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the same organization. Prior roles include consulting for the Global Center on Cooperative Security on countering violent extremism in Morocco and Tunisia, and serving as a Senior Programme Officer at Mercy Corps for regions in West, Central, and North Africa. Previous experience includes a delegate role at the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as various positions focusing on monitoring, evaluation, protection support, and project development across multiple NGOs. Roberto's academic background includes a Master's degree in Asian and African Studies from Università di Pavia, alongside studies in Arabic language in both Damascus and Milan, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Università degli Studi di Milano.
