Your Mission
As a QA Test Automation Engineer, you love to break things, build them to a high standard of quality to delight our customers and achieve our business goals. You are specialize in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionalities. This role involves collaborating with software engineers, identifying test requirements, and implementing automated testing frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of software testing processes.
Your Tasks
- Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using suitable testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborating with software engineers to understand software requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
- Creating and maintaining test data, test environments, and test artifacts for efficient test execution.
- Analyzing test results, identifying defects, and reporting them to the development team using bug tracking tools.
- Participating in test planning activities and providing inputs on test strategy and test coverage.
- Continuously enhancing and maintaining automated test suites to adapt to evolving software functionalities.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest automation testing trends, methodologies, and tools.
- Integrating the automated tests into the Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
- To provide expertise in Automation Design, Architecture, Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery to ensure constant innovation.
- To contribute in driving initiatives such as defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced.
- Managing deliverables and mentoring other team members.
Your Profile
- You have minimum 4 years of working experience in Automation testing.
- You have experience in JAVA programming language version 8 and higher and have the ability to script efficient automated tests.
- You have experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Serenity or other various frameworks and tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber etc
- You have experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured.
- You have the understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools.
- You have working knowledge in CI/CD using Docker and Azure Devops.
- You have high competency in testing API using RestAssured or JAVA native libraries.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for code management.
- You have an experience working in Agile development environment.
- You have an excellent problem solving and communication skill.
Nice to have:
- Experience on mobile automation using Appium.
- Experience on mobile farms like BrowserStack, PCloudy, AWS device farm.
