Nikela Schultz is an experienced educator and swim coach with a strong focus on fostering global citizenship and teamwork. Currently serving as a teacher at Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation since August 2018, Nikela emphasizes the importance of world cultures in building a more connected community. Prior experience includes working as the Head Swim Coach at the YMCA of Southern Indiana and serving as a marketing and communications intern at the EVSC Foundation. Nikela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in German Language and Literature with World Culture and Education from the University of Southern Indiana and has pursued further education in Transition to Teach at the University of Evansville. Early career roles include tutoring and swim instruction at various institutions, demonstrating a commitment to both education and aquatic sports.

The district is a county-wide system that is comprised of urban, suburban and rural areas.
