Prior to this, Kate worked at Jamestown 4-H Educational Center from April 2009 to December 2014 as Guest Services Director and Group Services. Earlier career experience includes founding and operating Kate's Play Cafe, a child day care business, from January 1996 to January 2004. Kate's educational background includes studies at VISARTS from 1986 to 1988 and at VCU from 1984 to 1986.
