Evergy
As vice president and chief nuclear officer of Evergy, Inc. Cleve Reasoner has management responsibility of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC), a subsidiary of the company, and is responsible for the safe operation of Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
Mr. Reasoner has served as president, chief executive officer and chief nuclear officer at WCNOC since 2019. In April 2014, Reasoner joined WCNOC as vice president of engineering, later being named site vice president in August 2014 where he served through 2019.
Prior to joining WCNOC, Mr. Reasoner served as vice president of engineering at Ameren’s Callaway nuclear power plant and site vice president from 2009 until April 2014. Before joining Ameren’s Callaway plant, Reasoner started his nuclear career at Arkansas Nuclear One, and served in a variety of engineering roles.
Mr. Reasoner received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Arkansas.
