Grant Johnson

Grant Johnson is an experienced audio designer and sound engineer, currently serving as Audio Designer IV at Everi Holdings Inc. since October 2022, following a previous role as Audio Designer III. As the owner of Recording Apparatus, a recording studio launched in June 2019, Grant blends vintage aesthetics with modern production techniques. Co-founding Fat Fuse Music in January 2008, responsibilities include pre-production, songwriting, and studio engineering across various recording environments. Previous experience includes working as an Audio Engineer/Mixer at Daytrotter from 2011 to 2016, and as an Audio Engineer at Church House Studio, where notable collaborations occurred with various artists. Early career experience at Apple Retail involved sales, customer service, and employee mentoring. Grant holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Game Design from Austin Community College and has additional education from MediaTech Institute-Austin.
