Stephan Weber has a strong background in systems engineering and sales within the turbomachinery industry. Stephan started their career at MAN Diesel & Turbo in 1995 as a Trainee and then worked as a Sales Project Manager in various sectors, including petrochemical applications and industrial gases. From 2002 to 2015, they served as the Head of Systems Engineering for Steam Turbines and later for Turbomachinery at MAN Diesel & Turbo. In 2018, they joined MAN Energy Solutions as the Head of Systems Engineering for Turbomachinery, overseeing business operations and leading a team of engineers. In 2021, they transitioned to the role of Head of Systems Engineering for Instrumentation & Controls, where they were responsible for technical sales support and order processing, as well as the implementation of new business areas. Overall, Stephan Weber has extensive experience in the turbomachinery sector, with a focus on systems engineering and sales management.

Stephan Weber obtained their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Hydraulic and thermal turbomachinery, general mechanical engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig in the years 1989-1995. Stephan also holds additional certifications from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, in the MAN General Management Programme, specializing in making a leadership contribution and strategic thinking and business imperatives respectively.
