Alex Jinks' work experience includes various roles in different companies.
Starting in 2007, Alex worked as a Shift Lead/Supervisor at Jay Vending Company, where they supervised a team, managed daily operations, and handled cash assets. From 2008 to 2019, they also worked as an Online & Event Tournament Admin for Major League Gaming, overseeing video gaming tournaments and later becoming a Head Referee for live events.
From 2010 to 2021, Alex worked at SageNet as a Principal Architect, WiFi & IoT, leading large-scale WiFi deployments and creating project plans. They also worked at Wandering WiFi, an AirWatch by VMware Company, from 2010 to 2016, where they served as a Technical Support and Wireless Engineer and later as a Technical Project Manager and Solutions Engineer, responsible for deploying WiFi solutions and managing projects.
In 2016 and 2018, Alex served on the Board of Directors for the Vinings Central Condominium Association, holding roles as President and Treasurer. They were responsible for overseeing board meetings, managing association activities, and handling budgeting and financial matters.
In 2021, Alex worked as a Senior Network Engineer at Mauser Packaging Solutions before transitioning to JinksCo, LLC in May 2021 as an IT and Network Consultant, providing services to small businesses.
In 2022, Alex joined EverOps as a Network Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for supporting critical infrastructure for tech companies. Currently, they are also working at Blizzard Entertainment as a Player Relations Coordinator for the Call of Duty League.
Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, project management, IT consulting, and event coordination.
Alex Jinks completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business in the years 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Parkview High School from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications including Certified Meraki Networking Associate from Cisco Meraki, DCS - D-Link Certified Specialist - Switching and DCS - D-Link Certified Specialist - Wireless from D-Link, Technician Class License, Amateur (HAM) Radio from the Federal Communications Commission, Cradlepoint Certified Sales Associate Certificate from Cradlepoint, and NSE 1, NSE 2, and NSE 3 Network Security Associate certifications from Fortinet. The certifications were obtained in various months and years, with the most recent being in 2020.
