Sumio Ikegawa

Sumio Ikegawa is a highly experienced engineer in the field of memory technology, currently serving as Principal Member of Technical Staff at Everspin Technologies since September 2014, focusing on advanced R&D for future memory products. Prior to this role, extensive experience at Toshiba Corporation included positions such as Chief Specialist in Memory Quality & Reliability Engineering and various leadership roles in the development of spin-transfer torque MRAM technologies. Sumio Ikegawa's career began at Toshiba Corporation, with earlier research on superconducting materials at both the International Superconductivity Technology Center and Toshiba Corporation. Educational background includes a PhD in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from The University of Tokyo, a Master's degree in Physics from Tohoku University, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from The University of Tokyo.
