Evident Change
Douglas Smith is an experienced social work professional with a strong background in program management and youth advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Program Specialist at Evident Change since May 2016, Douglas has progressed through various roles including Program Specialist and Program Associate. Previous experience includes a Graduate Policy and Administration Social Work Internship at Goodman Community Center, and a Youth Counselor position at Briarpatch Youth Services, Inc. Douglas has also held positions as an AmeriCorps Youth & Family Advocate and Assistant Advocate at Pathfinders, Operations Manager at SALS Recovery Houses & Coaching, and a Housing Intern with the City of West Allis. Douglas holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
